Lot’s of things, events, and people can cause attacks. Sometimes you don’t even know it’s coming until it hits you. So you got to be aware of you body and your mind when it happens. For exsample, personally one time I went into a restraunt and I saw a person there that I had a confrotation with one time. I started to panic and before I knew it I was out the door. When I realized it was him that started the attack, I confronted it. And it doesn’t bother me anymore.
You not only have to be aware when you go into an attack you have to be aware of all your senses when it happened. Like if you smelt a certain food and freaked, you have to think why that happened and then confront it. Thats the only way you can prevent another happening.

many are unaware that the liver is the main target in panic attacks. it is responsible for filtering toxins into the bladder, kidneys and intestine. if it is damaged (no matter how little or how much) a person can certainly have panic attacks.

diseases like nash, hepatitis b or c as well those that can affect the other filteration organs like the kidneys as well.

the best thing to do is cut out the caffiene. if you have a damaged liver, caffiene will build up in the system. this passes the blood brain barrier, which affects certain parts of the brain sending a person into a panic attack.

have your liver checked. do not rely on alt and ast levels as with the case of hcv infection, not always are they elevated. ask for a hepatitis c antibody test.

I deal with them too, yeah they suck. Over time you’ll learn how to control them. For example, if I have caffine, it tends to give me them more often.

They can be triggered by certain things that make you uncomfortable or just occur out of the blue. I would recommend going to see a doctor.. if they are severe or occur often you might need some meds. it is usually caused from an anxiety disorder.. just talk to a doctor to make sure that is the case for you

I deal with them myself. I can’t say one particular thing sets them off. I can wake up and just know I don’t feel quite right, anxious, that kind of thing. I’ve tried shrinks .. I don’t think they help much for panic attacks, but you don’t know until you try. I am also taking Paxil .. it seems to help a lot. I also try and stay busy and keep my mind on positive things (church, family, friends etc..) Life isn’t perfect, but it’s a lot better than when I was first diagnosed. :o )

Anxiety attacks, also called panic attacks, are unexpected episodes of intense terror or fear. Anxiety attacks usually come without warning, and although the fear is generally irrational, the perceived danger is very real. A person experiencing an anxiety attack will often feel as if they are about to die or pass out.
